Under Windows 7 64-bit, Firefox crashes on occasion; but more commonly it takes too long to load pages. I have had to close and reopen Firefox to load the page I wish to be on.

I've been having this problem, too--pages slow to load, especially eBay. I was thinking it was crappy DSL service from AT&T, but I've never had this problem with slowness for the three years I've used AT&T. It just started after updating to the newest release of Firefox.

I just tried to implement this link, and will pay attention to how Firefox performs: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Firefox-hangs. Also, there is a Windows Update KB2505438 that applies. You may want to see if you have it in your system. Incidentally, I found it peculiar that I do not have an option on my Start menu to start Firefox in Safe Mode.
