I normally have virginmedia.com as my homepage, but I now seem to have http://uk.search.yahoo.com/?fr=w3i&type=W3i_SP,205,0_0,StartPage,20120206,16933,0,27,0 as homepage and no matter what I try it keeps coming back.

Hi I have just updated FF to version 10.0.1 and problem is now fixed. So check what version you have and update to 10.0.1

Hi ian999!

This is usually caused (from what I know. I could be wrong) by a toolbar that is installed and has hijacked your homepage. Click the orange Firefox button on the top left corner then click Addons then click Extensions. Remove the Yahoo! Toolbar (if it is there) by clicking Uninstall.

I FOUND IT!! Looked in 'add-ons' for something that referenced Yahoo. Found something like 'Freeze.net' I didn't remember being there before..removed it and yahoo stopped showing up as my homepage. I was almost ready to dump Firefox because it was so annoying (hijacked anything I would start to type into the address bar to go to a webpage)
