How can I see recent history? I am only given the options of today, yesterday, or last month. (today being the 7th/2) I need to find a site I accessed three days or so ago.
I noticed that someone else had this problem six months ago! Has anyone been able to find the cause yet? I have not deleted history, and no-one else has access to my computer. Besides, last month's history as well as earlier months' is still available.

I am unsure about this. I also see an option for last 7 days. (I see: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, January) I do not know if what you see, as the sub folders, depends on usage. Possibly a history entry from 3 days ago will be in your last month category, have you tried looking at that and sorting it by date.
- Use History Library -> Views -> show columns -> visit date
to ensure the date is displayed
Possibly more likely explanation is you did not save the data. Was saving history enabled 3 days ago? or were you in private browsing mode, or some other custom setting? If you know part of the site name have you tried searching for that in the library or even in the location bar.
I just seem to be missing the "last 7 days" folder. I have all of January, and today and yesterday. I have not adjusted the saving settings, to be honest I wouldn't know how!! Thanks for replying, and so promptly too. Cheers, Thomas. (tudogz)

Take care with the last article, note that any restores of bookmaks will overwrite existing ones, and if you delete and recreate the database places.sqlite there is a danger of information being lost. See also (and take notice of the warnings and cautions in these articles if you make changes)
Sounds that older history from the past week has been deleted if you can't go back further than yesterday.
No, the problem is that because it was less than a week after the end of the month, there was no "past 7 days" folder at all. I could access last month and all previous history going back about 6 months, but not the few days after month's end. Now that it is more than 7 days past the previous month's end I can access all history. There also was no "This month" folder either. Maybe someone with a lot more knowledge than myself can arrange a fix for this? Thanks, tudogz01
