
firfox in general does not appear the way it should, neither does youtube, however in IE you tube looks and works does not in firefox have tried safemode no change
the look of firefox help page does not appear or work the way it should, youtube the same way, have tried erasing and reloading firefox trying safemode, nothing works. however in IE8 everything works the way it should. i want my old version of firefox, can anyone tell me how i can? every time i think i have found it , start to download, redirected to firefox 9. how do i get my old firefox back

You posted with a Firefox 10 beta release version (Firefox 10 hasn't been released yet, but may be released in one of the next days).
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
