how do i clear form autocomplete history without disabling it? you know when you're logging into youtube or tumblr or somethng, it saves it, how do i delete?

If you don't mind a little repetitive activity, when you click in the field you should be able to arrow down in the list to the one you want to remove, press Delete, move to the next one, press Delete, etc. With two hands, it might not be too bad.

One other thought: if there are sites where you don't want Firefox to display autocomplete history, you could write or find a Greasemonkey userscript to modify the relevant form fields on the site (adding autocomplete="off" will turn off autocomplete). But... that might be overkill.
