Firefox audio will loose device on a setting change. Process will not end on exit.

I will be listening to music on Firefox and then decide to change a bass enhancement setting via Windows sound.

The sound will cut out and required a full Firefox restart to come back. However, when I exit Firefox the process doesn't close and I have to end it manually via task manager.
