Firefox 9.01 will not start, has a dialog box saying it is still running.

Does anyone have any ideas with the following Vista firefox problem.

Firefox 9.01 will not start, has a dialog box saying it is still running.

There is no occurance of firefox in task manager. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled both from desktop and safe mode in vista.

I have removed all firewall instances.

I have tried with firewall shutdown

Still have the same problem

Solved by uninstalling all firefox --- including my settings
