google start up page australia& option for world

Before updating Firefox,On my start up page I had google which gave me the option of ticking the world or Australia.Now it is gone & only have the World or I can choose Australia from another Menu. The Upgrades are a Pain & frustrating. Can some body please assist me & tell me HOW to Get back the Google Start Page with the Option of Ticking World or Australia Thanking you Regards Darryl

Use the http://www.google.com.au page as the home page.

Hi Cor-el,Thank you for your prompt reply.I have been on this site & I know how to set my home page.The problem I have is where & how the google site where it has the option of the World or Australia by ticking the box Thanks Darryl

That start page is gone from the search page, so you have to make that choice on the results page.

You're welcome.

Google makes changes all the time to their web pages. A recent change is the menu that opens if you hover the Google image instead of the menu bar at the top (you may not have seen that yet).

Other changes you can undo by using specific GET data in the links that you use like I posted above.
You can usually find such links if you select choices in the menu at the left of the results page.
