I'm trying to install 8.01 but software reverts to 3.6.12

  1. Type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter
  2. If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page.
  3. Filter = general.useragent.
  4. Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset.
  5. Then restart Firefox
