i can't set my homepage to yahoo. Intead, when I stat firefox, it takes me to a blank site at http://l.yimg.com/a/i/mntl/ww/events/p.gif. How do I fix this?

I have tried to set yahoo as my homepage multiple times following the yahoo directions, but when I start firefox I am directed to that http://l.yimg.com/a/i/mntl/ww/events/p.gif site. I have also tried to change it by using my control panel under networks, but, it didn't fix the problem either.

Check your add-ons, maybe one of them is redirecting your homepage, usually happens when installing programmes with attached third-parties like Ask.com. Have you done a check for malware/adware as well?
