No it is hard to tell when a specific bug gets fixed and in which release such a fix is included.
Bug fixes always first land on the Nightly trunk branch where they can be tested and 'bubble' down to the Aurora and Beta channels and only after that they may get approved for a release.

ok I guess i'll just have to wait... although it is interesting that the new 8 rev didn't address it while Chrome already has that functionality.
