can i restore bookmarks that were deleted a long time ago? and keep the new ones i have?

i deleted my bookmarks a while back but now i want to restore them. I'm reading that any type of restoration may cause me to lose any new bookmarks...can I restore my old bookmarks (from months ago) and keep my new ones?

Unless you have a backup of those bookmarks, they are gone. Firefox only keeps 10 days worth of automatic bookmark backup files, after 10 days the oldest backup is overwritten bu a new backup.
