Trying to install FF add ons after downloading FF 7; keep getting message that says connection failure on services.addons.mozilla.org running Win XP

I get exactly the same error message. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Please sort this problem out as I can't use this browser without add-ons. Thanks
