Does FF 7 support Avast security?

Posted

When I upgraded to FF 6, I was told it did not support Avast security. So I had to stop using FF for awhile. Now there is v.7. Will it support Avast right away? This time I am not going to upgrade until I can run FF with Avast. Nothing bad has happened because I have NOT upgraded yet.

avast WebRep, you mean. It only shows what kind of ratings the website has, but does not offer any other protection beyond that. I have it installed in my Windows installation, but don't often use it.
