When I open Firefox browser with Yahoo homepage. The pictures and font size is so small I can hardly read it. Frustrated! Tim
I have been on Firefox help page and tried everything that has been suggested. I have yet to find a default selection where I can set my homepage to open at say 125% or a way to have it open where I do not have to enlarge every page - every time I open it.
Chosen solution
You can increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps to adjust the size of all fonts and other elements in Firefox (percentage divided by DPI, e.g. 150% / 96).
In current Firefox versions this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely.
To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
- Use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a preference more easily.
- Preferences that have been modified show as bold(user set).
- Preferences can be reset to the default or changed via the right-click context menu.

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems: View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Cmd+0 on Mac)
cor-el, Thank you for your response. However, I have tried View>Zoom>Reset. That does nothing to the size of pictures or wording on my homepage. In addition, I have just upgraded to a 25 inch Samsung HD LED monitor. Also, I did have to change my resolution to 1080p, 1824 x 1026 because I could not see my taskbar at the bottom and toolbar at the top of my homepage. This could have some effect on my situation. However, with Internet Explorer on the tools symbol at the top right corner of my homepage I can choose; Tools>Zoom>50% to 400%. At 125% my desktop in Internet Explorer is the correct size for my 25 in screen. I like Firefox and have used it for years. This has just become a problem since I upgraded to this new monitor. Still looking for a solution. Again, thank you for your time.

Got it! Go to FF Add-on manager and get NoSquint 2.1.2 It will retain your settings. I have been using it for months.
cor-el, Thank you for your prompt response. I'm no computer whiz. And I do not know enough about the internal stings to adjust them. So, my actions are to leave them alone, normally. However, with your guide and explanation, I was able to change the setting for this string to 1.25. This does enlarge my homepage as I was trying to do. Again, Thank you for your help. You have helped me correct my problem. Hope you have a great day! Mine is better already.
w1_m2, Thank you for your response also. I was able to correct my problem with the solution given by "cor-el" above, so I did not need to try anything else. Had this not resolved my problem I would have tried your suggestion. So, thank you for your time. Hope you have a nice day also.
