How do I see the true identity and path for an incoming email, not just the alias (i.e. fred.bloggs@yahoo.com)?

When we used to have an AOL account if you clicked on details of sender you got very detailed information on the true identity and the path which enabled you to check if the sender was fraudulent or not. If I click on details for the email alias on firefox in the right-side of the page all I get is "no details" .

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, see this forum for support. http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/support/
