I added Maukie the virtual cat now everytime i open up the browser it keeps downloading so took the add on off but now its still downloading 40 times in all
I would like to know how i can get it out of my downloads folder. I have deleted from my folders over and over again but is still downloading each time i open up my browser. I have even thought of uninstalling Firefox and then re-installing but would that get rid of it. Please help

You can also check the download manager for unfinished files.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js [2] and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well. Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note or bookmark them).
