Server not found error message

I get the Server Not Found error message ONLY USING FIREFOX. I use AVG 9.0 and followed the directions on the Firefox Troubleshooting web site to deselect and then add AVG to the allowed list. The AVG toolbar is disabled. Even so, I still get the error message Server Not Found message, and I can't get on to a web site unless I click on it over and over again.
