Trying to install coupon printer for www.coupon.com Get message "Could not create uninstall shortcut\Coupons\Uninstall Coupon Printer for Windows.lnk
I want to use the website www.coupons.com Website claims compatible with Firefox. However when I try to download I receive the above message. I have disabled firewalls, pop-up blockers, am updated on everything and have scanned everything.
It will work with IE8, but not working with Firefox at the moment. I tried resetting about config to "true" didn't work.
Chosen solution
Try getting help from the Coupons.com support line (650) 605-4600 - that message "Could not create uninstall shortcut\Coupons\Uninstall Coupon Printer for Windows.lnk" has nothing to do with Firefox, it involves a Windows shortcut for that programs uninstaller. There's nothing in Firefox that can be "adjusted" to fix a problem such as that.
That Coupon Printer plugin for Firefox has a caused a lot of grief for many Firefox users over the years, but the number of support postings is less recently than in previous years. In the past when I have tried to search the internet for information to try and help many Firefox users, I found no support information about that Coupon Printer program to be able to help those Firefox users.

Thank you so much for your reply...and a timely one too ! I really appreciate knowing it is not a Firefox issue. And thanks a million for the phone number. I was looking for that yesterday. I also researched the web looking for answers and only found a solution for problems with Windows 7.
You're welcome.
