I choose "icon" only but I still have icon and text

I choose the "icon" in the customize toolbar option, but I still have icon and text showing in the toolbar. It doesn't leave me much room for quick access to websites. Thanks

I think it would be more practical to have mostly folders on the bookmarks toolbar, change the title to very short character strings 1-4 characters and get rid of the icons. I only have have one bookmark on the Bookmarks toolbar that would actually have a valid favicon and that is "Google Voice".

That preference in Customize doesn't affect the Bookmarks Toolbar Items.
