I can no longer get Youtube videos to play in Firefox (v5 on Win XP), while I can with Google Chrome - any ideas?

When I call up a Youtube video I just get a black rectangle - bo picture, sound, etc. Videos from other sources seem to play OK.

Chosen Solution

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
