Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Export HTML... - to a USB stick
then
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import & Backup - Import HTML... - from file on that USB stick

Here is the Knowledge Base's explanation of how to export bookmarks. You should then be able to copy the exported information over to a USB memory stick. After clicking 'Choose File' in order to pull them over to the laptop, you will be able to use them again.

Note that it may be better to use a service such as Xmarks in order to synchronise your bookmarks across both computers. This would mean that newer bookmarks can be used across both computers.
