Every second link or so that I click on is taking me to unwanted redirected websites, Ive tried all antiwormspyware and it doesnt happen with Chrome or IE
For the last few months since I updated Firefox last when I do a google search mostly but sometimes from other links too it happens. I click on a link and more than half the time it redirects me to virus, pirate, gambling or porn websites. Ive tried to find a worm or malware with all known antivirus-anti spyware programs but nothing. I know it must be malware or trojan but can you tell me are you aware of it and if so how can I get rid of it. I prefer to use Firefox to Chrome but it doesnt happen on Chrome so it must be a Firefox specific problem

It could be from a malicious add-on or 'search bar' that installed without your permission. Check your add-ons to see if you have any you don't recognize. Also, do you use any extra 'bars' besides your navigation/menu/bookmarks bars? Sometimes adware is disguised as search tools for your browser.

Thanks for that. Ive used Stumble for a couple years so not suspecting that but do have one called Babylon which is supposedly a website translator search bar. Doesnt seem to be anything else there it could be so I will uninstall it and try it all again
Looks like Babylon was the problem. Now uninstalled without a hitch and 20 tests give 20 correct links. havent had that for a while. Zero redirects. Thanks again
Finally I found the problem was the Add-on ImTranslator v 4.2. Earlier versions didn't seem to cause this problem. Nasty!
