Mac users get "this connection is untrusted" message although I have an SSL cert

I have a new ecommerce website for which I paid to have an SSL certificate. Mac users browsing in Firefox are getting a "This connection is untrusted" message. Users are offered a "Get me out of here button" or can click on "Technical Details" or "I understand the risks". Most choose to get out. Mac users can browse in Safari with no problem, PC users don't have the issue in any browser, including Firefox.
