Bottom Line: I HATE Firefox 4. It is giving me all kinds of weird problems not to mention frequent freezing MAC OSX 10.6.7. I want to go back to the last #3. It was flawless. I tried to leave this as Feedback but it wouldn't submit!!!!BUT

I'm also on Snow Leopard, and Firefox 4 works fine here. What kind of problems are you having?
If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? To start in Safe Mode, go to Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem. See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
I have used Firefox since it first came out, and always loved it. Firefox 4.0.1 is a different story. This must be one of the worst software upgrades across the board, of any software package I have ever used. I have stuck with it for a few weeks, and I have now finally given up.
Constant crashes, constant freezes, many plugins no longer work, my favorite among them, i.e PDF plugin to see PDF files inside the browser. AppTabs disappear over and over.
I have downgraded back to 3.6.17 and hope things will be better again.

How did you downgrade back. The 4 over-wrote my 3.6.17. How on earth can I get it back. PLEASE reply and thank you.

OMG. Thank you so much!!! The things I don't know. The site is bookmarked and 3.6.17 is happily installed and working fine. Again, so many thank you's, more than I can say. Wendy

I love Firefox, really.
But this FF4 is a pain. Ive changed to Chrome just because of that. I did that (disabled all plugins) without success. So I created a new profile. Again without success. And the safe mode changed anything too. Im on a Ubuntu 11.04. If somebody knows the solution or the cause of the problem... Put it on the FF home, please.
