After installing (multiple attempts) FlashPlayer, it does not show up on the Plugins list in FireFox. Installation succeeded every time, but apps such as games requiring the plugin do not work and prompt to install again and again.

Please help.

Had the same problem. It seems as if the installed plugin had too many bits. The download page suggested I install 64 bit, even though I had FF installed as the 32bit version. Manually selecting the 32bit version of the flash plugin and installing that one fixed the problem for me.
