Running Firefox 4.0..1 on Windows 7. When Firefox is launched, the 3 App Tabs I have defined are opened just fine. They are also opened as regular tabs. Why the duplication? What have I done wrong?

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

I deleted the 2 files, closed Firefox, then launched Firefox. Problem NOT solved. The 2 files are back in the Profile, brand new. I did not reboot. I didn't think I needed to. I'll try that next.

You need to close Firefox first and then remove the files.

I think I was just stupid. This was an operator error. Most of the problems with my hardware and software are often operator errors. I had defined 3 App Tabs. But I also had the same three pages as regular tabs listed in the Home pages field. When I removed the three regular tabs from the Home page list, everything turned out fine. Cor-el, thanks for the suggestion about deleting the files. However, you assumed I was not stupid, a mistake on your part. Thank you.
