I've just upgraded to Firefox 4.0.1. When i click on an address or type in an address in the location bar and press ENTER on my keyboard, it doesn't take me to the address, the tab stays blank like i've not done anything. I have to click on the little arrow key at the right hand side of the location bar for it to go anywhere!

How do i fix this? I've been in to the Tools>Options menu and checked the box that says "When i open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" but this hasnt done anything.

Thank you

AVG Safe Search has been known to cause that problem. Disable it (Add-ons, click on it, click "Disable") and restart Firefox, then test.

Check with AVG for an update.
