I cannot override the cache by "command+shift+R" or "shift+reload"
I am trying to create website changes and need to refresh a bunch to see my changes as I do this. I cannot get the page to refresh, no matter what I do. I'm on a Mac running OS 10.4.11 & Firefox 3.6.17.
I have tried holding the Command+Shift+R I have tried holding the Shift while clicking Reload.
The only thing that seems to work is going into the History and forcing a "Control+ Forget about this site"
As you can imagine this is a HUGE pain while making tons of changes to a page.
Please help! Thanks!

Are you sending GET data or POST data or cookies to the server?
Huh? LOL! I'm brand new at this and trying to set up my first Wordpress site and have no idea what you mean - if you can tell me where to look I'll see. Its a self-hosted site thru hostgator
If you have a clean URL in the location bar that doesn't have ?xxx=xxx data appended and are opening a link from another page then you aren't sending POST or GET data.
You may still need to clear the cookies. It is also possible that pages are cached at other locations (router, proxy etc.) or that the hosting site is still sending an old page from the cache.
You can test that via sites like Google translate or http://web-sniffer.net/

Sorry for the delay in responding we had a storm & I had to shut down.. to your question, I'm not opening the page from anything other than a new window with nothing in the URL that has anything other than the website (http://dothewill.com).
If I reload that page, it doesn't refresh. If I reload using one of the above methods to try and override the cache it still doesn't show any changes. I thought doing that should override the cache, cookies, etc and just reload newly that webpage, without my having to completely trash all my cache for the zillions of other sites that I go to. I'm not sure what you mean by router, proxy, etc.
