How do I get the padlock icon back on the bottom add-on bar? Since downloading Firefox 4.0.1 this icon has not appeared and I have to verify security through the tools menu.

Sorry you had to use Tools. Actually, the idea was that you would use the area to the left of the address (green, blue, or plain) to check whether the site is secure.
