firefox freezes of me every 10 seconds and and it has been goign on for a few days now

Hello,

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Firefox? I am having a very difficult time trying to work and even typing this message here. Its on about a 10 second delay, the whole system seems to freeze every few seconds and for 10 seconds each time.

Can someone help me figure out why this is doing this?

I have had the same problems since downloading new FF4.0.1/18 and Adobe Flash latest version. I received notices that both needed to be updated. Worst problems are in Facebook and when trying to play any games or scroll a page. Now, it won't even let me load a game.

Would someone please help us?

Search for:

places.sqlite (history stuff+favicons etc etc)

urlclassifier3.sqlite (google phishing url's, will be rebuild)

Must be somewhere in your profile directory...DELETE them.
