my changed homepage dosnt show on startup

I have changed details on my website including my home page but when i start Firefox 4 my old home page remains until i enter a a sub page . i then get the new page. how do i get the new home page to load on start up? i am using windows xp, this doesn't happen on internet explorer.

Chosen Solution

Firefox loads pages from the cache if you restart Firefox. If you want a fresh page then you need to use Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox to clear the cache if you exit Firefox.
