My Firefox has been hijacked by Mobilkap.com (filenxt.com... in the address bar) - every site I try will load for a moment but is then taken over this other page - how can I fix?
Runnng FF 3.6.16 Various free security products up to date: zonealarm, spybot, avast, adblock I have cleared 'everything' in the clear history option. Google still listed as homepage in options.

Yes, same problem here. Brand new - started today and it's remarkably annoying.
Does anyone know how to fix it?
This is what solved it for me:
At the end of page 1, the user recommends to run a tool called Gooredfix. http://jpshortstuff.247fixes.com/GooredFix.exe
I am not associated with any software and want to remind you that you run anything at your own risk. I was desperate, ran it, and it cleaned up that redirect problem flawlessly. I finally have my Firefox back.
Thanks to that website for clearing up the issue. I just wanted to post here because it took me a long Google search to find it.
