Hi,

I am having a very strange problem and would love to find a solution since I really enjoy browsing with Firefox.

This is a brand new Win7 Pro 64bit install. I installed FF4 this morning and it worked great. I then installed Thunderbird 3 and since then FF4 no longer works. The process shows up in the process list, but does not show in the Application list.

I then try uninstalling/reinstalling FF4 and the install process hangs at "A little house keeping". I then uninstall FF4 again and install FF3.6.16. The install completes without a problem but the same thing happens and a FF windows never appears but the process is in the process list under task manager.

I have tried uninstalling all Mozilla products and all files and entries from the registry. I have since reinstalled and Firefox refuses to run.

Thunderbird did install fine and still works without a problem.

Help?!

Bumping again

There's a shared library conflict that's killing Firefox. Chrome sucks and I'm over it, but don't have another option besides IE and that's not really an option.

Please help!
