I noticed the layout for Mac is different than for windows. The tutorial always references the yellow firefox logo in the upper left part of the screen to access options but it does not exist on the mac screen. Where is it? Also, you can't right click on the toolbar and have "menu bar" appear as an option - how do I get the menu bar?

Chosen solution

I'm guessing by option button you're wanting the location of where your settings can be changed. On a Mac it's called Preferences & located by clicking on Firefox word in the top left of your computer's menu bar. Clicking Preferences will open the box for changing different setting options such as security, settings, tabs, etc.

The menu bar should always be available at the top of your computer screen. You may have to lower the window you are viewing to see it since it does not attach itself to the browser screen.

The Firefox button is only available on Windows and Linux and shows when the Menu bar is hidden.

On Mac the menu bar is maintained by the Mac OS and not by Firefox and the Menu bar is always visible and can't be hidden, so there is no need for such a menu button.
