Several unexplained dialog boxes popup when I am on yahoo.com. They say, "The page at yahoo.com says:" "hi" "1", etc. What is the problem and how do I stop it?

There are at least 4 dialog boxes that popup when loading various yahoo pages. The first dialog is always "hi."

I encountered the "hi" dialog box only (I killed Firefox after seeing it and didn't get any subsequent boxes) with Firefox 3.6.16 on Kubuntu Karmic Koala. (Yes, I know I'm backlevel, I'll be working on the Lynx upgrade soon.)
