How can I get Bookmarks to permanently display down the screen?

I just updated to Firefox 3.6.15 today. I used to have a Bookmark icon I could click and it would display all of my bookmarked items down the screen until I click on the icon again to make them disappear. Now I cannot figure out what to do to get them to all display down the page.

You can use keyboard shortcut Control+B, or in the View menu select Sidebar and then Bookmarks.

To get the icon back, use the instructions in the following link to drag and drop the bookmarks icon onto the toolbar - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/How+to+customize+the+toolbar
