I have a blank Firefox icon on my desktop that does not function. I have tried to delete it but get a message that I need permission to delete. I also have a working Firefox icon that does open Firefox. How can I delete the none working icon.

You can use the free unlocker utility to unlock the file allowing you to delete it - http://cedrick.collomb.perso.sfr.fr/unlocker/
