I want to create a desk top icon to take me to a program
In bookmarks I have a specific link to a web page that I want to create a desktop icon (short cut) that will take me to the specified web page. I find no way to do this.
Any ideas?

There are add-ons that can be used to do this, such as:
- deskCut - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/deskcut/
- SaveLink - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/savelink/
- Create Shortcut- http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/?addon=cs
