I do not have a wide screen monitor, the Firefox webpage runs off the right side of my screen. How do I shrink the webpage to fit my screen? The Font is also large, I tried shrinking the font but that didn't help???

wackyyackie

I used Firefox with this monitor previously; however, I've given this monitor to my husband and the webpage now runs off the right side of the screen. The print and images are too large. I'm sure it must be a setting; however, I've tried a few things (opened in safemode and set toolbars, changed font size) but nothing has worked. I have to scroll the bottom toolbar to the right in order to read what is on the right side of the screen. What am I doing wrong??? I'm not a computer guru so I need specific instructions that I can follow. I'm sure it's something simple but don't know what it is. Someone told us that we needed a larger monitor to accomodate the webpage but I used it just fine for 2 years before giving the monitor to my husband. He had a friend set it up for him and I believe possibly some settings were set incorrectly.

Click on the Titlebar (at the top where it says Mozilla Firefox) and drag the Firefox window to the left until you can see the three buttons in the upper-right corner, then hit the middle button. (Minimize/Maximize)

Open the system menu via Alt+Space and see if you can resize that window.
If that works then close Firefox to save that setting.
