My Firefox (with all my hundreds of Bookmarked sites!) is gone! I emptied the Trash on my Mac and somehow Firefox is gone too! What do I do?!?
I am right in the middle of a huge project for school and was trying to clear my computer off and empty the Trash. I don't know how the two are related, but I emptied the Trash and now Firefox is gone! Can I retrieve it? How can I prevent this horror from happening again? What should I do??

Firefox stores your bookmarks inside your "Profile" folder which is located at: Your home folder > Library > Application Support > Firefox > Profiles. Please check if this folder is still present. If so, then copy it to some safe location. Then, install Firefox again and restore your bookmarks. For more information on these steps, please read this article: Backing up your information
