When a website is unavailable an alert pop's up and takes focus even when you are on another tab. I would like to know how to disable or prevent this from happening, maybe an about:config setting or something ?

Chosen solution

You can check the pref browser.xul.error_pages.enabled on the about:config page and make sure that the value is set to the true (default).
