Why does my HP 9800 Printer only errors with Firefox 3.6.x?

This has bee an issue since 3.6 and still not fixed. My hp 5610 works ok but my hp 9800 always errors. but with IE works ok with both hp printers.

help please.

IThe 9800 errors. The middle LED on the left flashess twice pauses and loops. This happens only with Firefox and jot with IE. Prior to 3.6 (i thinik) it work OK.

I do not know the actual error code. It flashes twice. I guess HP 9800 has a list of flah errors.

This is a huge issue since I like Firefox.

In the 2nd posting, Stephen gives an explanation of what each LED indicates, but he doesn't mention the layout of those LED's - left - middle - right.

Isn't there a mention of the error codes in the manual? Or maybe a sticker on the inside of an access panel - like maybe cartridge access, that explains those codes?
