Firefox cannot load anything but the Inbox on gmail (it can neither reply, nor forward, nor load the Settings tab), but the xplorer can

I have a very specific problem, only with the Gmail page. This problem only occurs on Firefox. I get the Inbox page and see my messages, but I cannot do anything other than that. I cannot reply, forward, or open the Settings tab. Whenever I try to do anything of the sort, it remains jammed on "Loading..." and never changes the page. I do not experience this problem with the Explorer, so I have to use Explorer to work with my Gmail web account.
