Everytime I Open firefox, it opens in the last site I have browsed, even though I have set Google as my home page. How do i fix

I have used Firefox previously and it works fine. My computer was recently refomatted and the tech installed Internet explorer. Yesterday he installed firefox. Now everytime I go to browse, it opens in the site I last browsed.
