Use the right-click context menu to remove a bookmark from the Bookmarks Toolbar. You can also do that in the bookmarks sidebar or in the Bookmarks Manager (Library).

Thanks. Your answer gave me idea. These bookmarks were not in the bookmark toolbar per se, but I was able to right-click and delete. Thanks.
