All my Bookmark symbols are missing. E for ESPN sites, Microsoft flag for MSN mail, WR for Wynham rewards, etc. All of them are missing.

I have over 230 bookmarks and just recently the symbol that is to the left of all my bookmarks appears as a sheet of notepad paper. This happened for all my bookmarks. On some of them after I have accessed the site the symbol will be okay again. However I certainly do not want to do this for 230 sites.
