When yuo type text in firefox you usually get an suggestion on text to use automatically. I have not that function, what setting is wrong.
When you loggon to a site on the internet, you can get a sugestion on words to use, I don 't have that function. What is it cald, and how do I set it right?

Based on your description there are a couple of possibilities.
One is form autocomplete, you can find details on using that in the form autocomplete and form autocomplete entries are not saved articles.
As you mentioned logging into sites, another possibility is the option to remember passwords. The remembering passwords and username and password not remembered articles give more details.
