you tube and other online videos i can watch but no sound.my media player and real player have plenty of sound but not on the internet.i dont even have the speaker icon in the taskbar

this happend after a plague of viruses. i can connect to internet thru firefox but not internet explorer.i cleaned the virus but no sound in chat rooms or youtube vidsor any video i view online
