I am trying to clear my history. I hit clear history as shown, then clear cache (both ways) but when I go to the History bar, then Library / show all history, I still have all the pages there. I do not want them there. :/; How do I make it clear??

If you use Tools -> Clear Recent History, with Everything as the time range, and the Browsing & Download History option selected, but it doesn't work, your Places database may be corrupt.

Do you see anything in Tools -> Error Console under Errors when you try to clear all history?

Since you want to get rid of all History anyways, follow instructions below to:

  1. Export your bookmarks to a backup file.
  2. With Firefox closed, delete places.sqlite and places.sqlite-journal in your profile folder
  3. Reimport your bookmarks.
